It is that time again where we announce two more bands to be added to Moshville Oktoberfest 2023 gig at Ivory Blacks in Glasgow on 7th October.
It is with great pleasure that we welcome our first international band to the line up, hailing all the way from sunny Majorca, we have groove metal trio Vulgar Chaos. Hot on the heels of releasing their second album Rising from the Ashes last month, they are ready to stamp their authority on these shores and play songs from both their albums in the two years they have been active. Taking their influences from Lamb of God, Machine Head and Pantera, I am sure that is exactly what Vulgar Chaos are going to do. Fun fact: the band were forced to change their original name of Vice City of thirteen years to Vulgar Chaos due to a well known video game company putting some pressure on the band.

Secondly, we would like to announce Scottish death metal bruisers Penny Coffin. Hailing from Stirling and Inverness, they have just released a hugely popular EP in the undergound entitled Conscripted Morality and will surely continue flying the flag for the UKDM scene. Being described to me by guitarist Kendo of fellow Scottish death metallers Brainbath and officially releasing a vinyl edition of the EP through his own Macho Records as “the Scottish Decapitated”, then you can be sure to recognise the quality of the riffs from Penny Coffin. You will be guaranteed to snap your necks to this with the quality of the band and be sure to head to the merch table afterwards.
