Signing News: Town Tundra, Martyrdöd, Netherhall, Fall Has Come, Serial Vice

We’ve got everything from melodic crust punk to prog metal here today, so read on for all the newest bands catching the first of hopefully many big breaks.

Town Tundra

A few short days ago, Wormholedeath welcomed in yet another group to their ever expanding family, this time tapping into the rich reserve of Russian death metal with Town Tundra. With their fifth release dropping next month, Misanthropy Never Fails touches on individualism against the swathe of injustice in the world and with song titles like “Hell Bleeds With Oiland “Ill Itch (Sick Of Revolutions)”, I am more than intrigued with how this will all sound when it comes together. Thankfully, Wormholedeath have picked up on this, ensuring the record gets to every corner of the earth. A video for “Wit From Woe” can be found below. Check out the official album teaser too if this sounds like your cup of music.

Martyrdöd

Swedish melodic crust punkers Martyrdöd have caught the keen eyes of Century Media Records (of Behemoth, Arch Enemy and Napalm Death fame) after slogging away at their craft since their inception in 2001 resulting in two albums since 2014. With Philipp Schulte of Century Media offering “the most supportive proposal”, the group will work with the label for the next three records, the first of which is believed to rear its head in the latter half of next year. To tide ourselves over till then, check out “Handlöst Fallen Ängel” off last year’s release List.

Netherhall

With the release of the Imacular EP and a stage show described as “atmospheric” and “mesmerising” leading to their victory at Bloodstock’s Metal 2 The Masses competition in Birmingham, Netherhall finally earned their stripes on the Hobgoblin New Blood stage at this year’s infamous Bloodstock Festival. Now with FATangel management at their side, the band have said they are “in the perfect hands to help take Netherhall to the next level.” This “next level” begins this November in Wolverhampton at The Midlands Metal Crusade where they are to support the brilliant Orange Goblin along with new material appearing some time next year. Get hyped and check out “Lake View” if you’re unversed in the ways of the alternative prog metal that is Netherhall.

Fall Has Come

With Time To Reborn under their belts just one year after formation and Nowhere coming in the next few months, things are going well for Italian alternatives Time Has Come. They are one of two bands that have inked a deal with Sliptrick records as of today in preparation of the new record. Having shared many European and Russian stages with the likes of Evanescence, TigertailZ and Yellowcard, they are ones to have in the periphery of your vision. As such, take some time out to take in “I Will” off Time To Reborn.

Serial Vice

Also hailing from Italy and now also labelmates on Sliptrick Records (as of today!), Serial Vice take a slightly different turn sonically from Fall Has Come in playing a more traditionally influenced heavy metal. Their debut album Nightmares Come True is out on the 10th of October featuring the opening track “You Are Heroin” which has been recorded and re-recorded over the past few years. You can hear it below and get in the mood for a debut album from a new band. What’s not to love?
