Southampton based CIC Give A Gift Southampton has teamed up with some of the best of UK talent to produce the stunning festive single “This Christmas Eve”.
Released on 26th November, the track features a whole host of artists from diverse musical backgrounds and culminates in an emotive and moving track that encompasses the spirit of Christmas and what Give A Gift is all about.
Written and co-produced by Daniel J Bremner and Lauren Louise Green, who are known as The Good Lies, the track is sure to be a festive favourite for years to come. The track features artists who have been involved with Give A Gift in the past or are performing at one of the events this year and include Henry Newbury, Neptune Rain, Jodie Poye, Megan Rose, Connor Leckenby and The Wombourne High School Choir.

Give A Gift Southampton is a CIC set up by local people with a connection to the Children’s Wards at Southampton General. Every year they put on a festive family friendly event to collect gifts and raise money for the Hospital and Families of Ocean Ward. It’s a free event, all they ask is that you bring along a gift that can be taken to the hospital on Christmas Morning when they visit the wards with Santa and his Elves.
Any money raised from the sale of the single will be split between Families of Ocean Ward and Southampton Hospital and will be used to allow Give A Gift to provide music sessions and workshops to the inpatients throughout the year as well as provide gifts on Christmas morning.
This year there are 2 events that you can get along to if you are close to Southampton:
December 4th – Strawberry Field Tavern, Locks Heath
December 11th – The Hook, Warsash
