Tantrum release new single

After the success of the “Sands of Time” single prior to the release of their Another Life album, Tantrum sees their first physical single release. The title track of the album, “Another Life” will be available as a numbered limited edition single that includes a die-cut fridge magnet “that you can stick on your empty fridge”, a die-cut sticker, and a novelty “Fat Cats” Tantrum banknote. The track speaks to the current socioeconomic divide seen across the globe.

“We live in a world where those who struggle are targets for those who live in a state of perpetual abundancy. Their goal is to take what little the 99% have so they can continue to accumulate more combined wealth than could ever be necessary in a million lifetimes. Because they can, and because we can’t do anything about it.”

The single is supported by an official music video, described by the band as a statement video.

We don’t appear much in the video. We wanted our video to highlight the daily struggles seen by so many, although the reality is that you only need to step outside your front door to see it. The queues at food banks, the myriad forms and assessments required to actually qualify for the food banks because their resources are in short supply.

The single comes with never-before-heard original demos of “Sands of Time”, “The First One”, and “Another Life” and can be bought directly through the band’s website or their Bandcamp page.
