Here we go with another daily collection to celebrate the end of the working week. See you down the pub…
Queensrÿche – “Hellfire”
Seattle based heavy metal icons Queensrÿche are nearing the end of their “Condition Hüman” world tour, which has now brought them back to North America on a headlining run. Continuing to build on the momentum of their latest studio album, the band has released a visceral new music video for their song “Hellfire”, which spotlights the Malaysian passenger flight crisis in 2014.
Crippled Black Phoenix – “Scared and Alone”
Crippled Black Phoenix are now premiering their first video in support of their freshly unleashed full-length Bronze (out on November 4th).
The clip for the track “Scared and Alone” has been created by renowned Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu. The animation revolves around the illness of depression, which is represented in song and visuals by the metaphorical “black dog” – a slang term expressing this severe and dangerous medical condition.
From Ashes to New – “Breaking Now”
From Ashes to New. New video. No more info. Other than that is rocks. Go watch. Ug.
Aree and the Pure Heart – “American Love”
It’s been a hectic few months for Atlanta folk punkers Aree and The Pure Heart. Earlier in 2016, they signed with Bearded Punk Records, shortly after which they released their debut, five track EP Heartsongs. Now, to end their whirlwind year, the bucolic band is back with their very first music video!
The video (for the stellar single “American Love” from the aforementioned EP) captures a simpler, grittier side of classic Americana and features the hallmark, genuine sound that we’ve come to expect from this infectious up and coming act. If you’re a fan of Steady Hands or early Against Me!, you’re definitely going to want to check this one out.
