Elvenking release new single and music video “Gone Epoch”

Italian power/folk metal masters Elvenking unveil their latest single, “Gone Epoch” – a captivating anthem that highlights the band’s most dreamy and folk-inspired side. The track is the second single from their upcoming album Reader of the Runes – Luna, set for release on April 11, 2025, via Reaper Entertainment.

With its haunting atmosphere and nostalgic melodies, “Gone Epoch” takes listeners on an emotional journey into the past. The band comments:

“Gone Epoch is our next single out of the last chapter of the Reader of the Runes trilogy and shows our most folk and dreamy side. The song is about the loss of innocence and about everyone’s childhood, when the world seemed light and easy and there were no thoughts and responsibilities, but just the pureness of having fun and dreaming big. This is obviously linked closely with the story of our eight characters. You will find out how diving deep in this last chapter of the story. The music shows our love for folkloristic tunes, even if it contains some very epic and heavy moments as well. It will easily remind some older EK style and could become a great tune to be played live.”
