Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons – “Welcome To Hell”

Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, led by the legendary long time Motorhead guitarist, have released a brand new single and video for “Welcome To Hell”. The track is the second single taken from the band’s upcoming debut album, The Age Of Absurdity, out on January 26th.

The band are also pleased to announce that they will be supporting Ugly Kid Joe on their 5-date UK run in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of America’s Least Wanted. Dates as follows:

  • April 18th – The Garage, Glasgow
  • April 19th – O2 Institute Birmingham
  • April 20th – O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London
  • April 21st – Concorde 2, Brighton

Perfect Beings – “Vibrational – Mysteries, Not Answers”

LA progressive rock outfit Perfect Beings are set to release their third album, and debut for InsideOut/Sony Music, Vier, on January 19, 2018. The band are pleased to release the second single from the album, “Vibrational – Mysteries, Not Answers”. Its accompanying video can be seen here.

Orphaned Land – “We Do Not Resist”

Oriental metal pioneers, Orphaned Land, have just released a video and digital single for their new song “We Do Not Resist”, taken from their upcoming album Unsung Prophets & Dead Messiahs, which will be released on January 26th, 2018. Kobi Farhi explains:

After our first single “Like Orpheus”, it is time to present you the angry side of our new album. Growls, straight forward protest text against the fact that we do not resist. I won’t say too much, listen to it, read the lyrics. It’s a kick into your face.

The band play London’s Underworld on February 26th.

Bloodshot Dawn – “Reanimation”

With the release of the third Bloodshot Dawn album, Reanimation, looming the band have unveiled a second single, and the title track from the album. Frontman Josh McMorran comments:

This is a song about new beginnings and a realisation that the earth could exist without human life and likely prosper! This song marks the end of the story, the aftermath of an inter-dimensional war.

Out via Hostile Media on 12th January 2018, Reanimation features prominent guests including Jeff Loomis (Arch Enemy, Nevermore), Paul Wardingham, Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams, The Faceless), Mendel Bij De Leij (Aborted).

L’Homme Absurde – “Cleansing The Temple”

Russia’s post black metallers L’Homme Absurde have published a video for their latest single “Cleansing The Temple”, which was released on Christmas day and will be available on the band’s upcoming album.

L’Homme Absurd was initially founded as the one-man-band of A., drummer for russian doom metal bands such as Mare Infinitum, Who Dies In Siberian Slush and Comatose Vigil, being the mastermind of doom/downtempo band A Young Man’s Funeral as well. Now A. is joined by other musicians, which released together Monsters, their debut full-length, in 2016.

Sanguine Glacialis – “Monsters”

Experimental death metal act Sanguine Glacialis have signed a distribution deal with Wormholedeath for the worldwide release of their album Hadopelagic (produced by Chris Donaldson of Cryptopsy). The release date is April 6th 2018.

Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Sanguine Glacialis have shared the stage with Dark Tranquility, Omnium Gatherum, Delain, Hammerfall, Unexpect, Necronomicon and many more. The dark heart of Sanguine Glacialis is vocalist/keyboardist Maude, the sole original member left in the band. She describes their sound as “unique, original, intense and dark”.

The band have released the official video for the song “Monsters”, taken from the upcoming album Hadopelagic.
