Eva Plays Dead robbed of £3,000 worth of gear

Eva Plays Dead - Sounds of the Written WordPlease share this post far and wide. Yet another case of a band being robbed of equipment which is effectively their livelihood by scum and filth. We’re not ones to promote vigilantism (in case any lawyers are reading this), but if the perpetrators happen to have their hands slammed repeatedly slammed in a car door while being apprehended, we wouldn’t shed a tear.

No-nonsense Derbyshire rockers Eva Plays Dead are devastated to announce the loss of £3,000 worth of equipment following a robbery on their tour van. Lost items include the band’s new drumkit, the guitarist’s pedalboard and bassist’s amp heads, as well as many more. The theft took place in the Derby / Cheltenham area.

The news comes at a particularly difficult time for the band as they’re set to play Macmillan Fest and FortFest very shortly. To raise funds, Eva Plays Dead have produced a one-off t-shirt, which you can purchase through their BigCartel page. A fan-genererated GoFundMe has also been created. Fans certainly rallied round when their van died some months ago, so I’m sure there will be a similar positive response this time.

The local police have been informed but if you see any equipment surfacing (full list below with what pictures I’ve been able to get) the band ask you please get in touch. All of their social media links are at the bottom of the page.
