Ant on Troubled Pine was formed in 2010 by brothers George and Kostas Karampelas, inviting pals Antonis Christofis and Adam Pefkos to join them on this journey. After a while the two brothers moved on from this project to a new path. Adam and Antonis continued with Ant on Troubled Pine, creating a more of a prog rock sound as a new concept.
Time’s gone on, Antonis has moved away from the band. A new restructure appeared with a complete line up, featuring Eua Kioseoglou (vocals), Konstantinos Christopoulos (guitars), Adam Pefkos (bass), Giorgos Lioulios (keyboards) and Panos Topalidis (drums) to carry on their quest.
Their debut album Shadow People features seven tracks, and was released in March 2017.  Eya Kioseoglou’s voice is wonderful, her ability to portray emotion is impressive. These guys have a strong presence when listening to them on record, and they have been honing their skills playing live in their home of Thessaloniki in Greece.
