Sometime you just need to bounce around a bit with a daft grin on your face. Those are the times to reach for a pop/punk band and today – for your bouncy pleasure – I would like to present As It Is.
They’re “transatlantic” and list their roots as “Brighton by way of Minneapolis”. So, just round the corner then. I also happened to notice whilst checking them out that they’re on tour in the UK in the next couple of weeks!
You can nab their current EP, Blenheim Palace, from BandCamp and it’s pretty good. However, the one new track from their forthcoming new release already shows an improvement in sound and production which can only bode well for them. Said EP, This Mind of Mine, is out on March 17th and the song “Horoscopes” is embedded below.
Now is the perfect time to give them a listen and if you reckon they’d be as good live as they are recorded, pop down and see them later this month!
