London-based party doom monsters Gurt released a new album, Skullosus, back in May and it seemed to go down a treat with those who like their music with an edge of sludge.
Prior to this, though, they dropped a couple of Christmas songs as – obviously – they like an Xmas shindig as much as the next miserable, down-tuned band member.
Here’s their 2013 effort, “Little Donkey”, definitely an improvement on the traditional version. In fact I think I’ll teach my daughter this rendition and see exactly how long it takes for her to get expelled after her upcoming school nativity performance.
