Album News: Brutai, Fraktions, Love|Less, Sport

Some tasty news to kick start your week and help shake off those Monday-blues…

Progressive metallers Brutai have premiered their new song “Of Ashes” via Metal Hammer. The track is taken from the band’s debut album Born, the artwork for which was designed by Mario Sanchez Nevaro and animated (in the video below) by George Redhawk, who is registered legally blind. You can check out the track below:

Fraktions - AnguishYoung British tech/prog-metallers Fraktions have unveiled a new track from their upcoming EP Anguish, out August 12. Having played alongside Drewsif Stalin, No Consequence (whose frontman features on the EP),Kadinja, and Bleed from Within, Anguish is a irresistible new take on technical metal. Inspired by songwriter and pianist Joel Pinder’s classical leanings, the EP presents an impressively mature approach from such a young band. You can check out the track “Panic” below:

Love|LessLove|Less is the sound of five unified and hardworking minds coalescing to create energetic and formative modern punk-rock, strewn with the beguiling long since passed sounds of early 00’s MTV alt-rock. Their new EP ‘Act 1: Heaven’ is the result of this London based quintet’s continuous labour and their enduring determination to grow and the result is nothing short of breath-taking. You can check out the track “Heaven” below:

Slow - SportFour official releases since 2011, tons of gigs all around the European territory and an audience which is constantly growing-up, Emo/Indie/Punk outfit Sport is one of the most active and exciting French bands of its category and its past effort has been sold-out and already repressed several times yet. In September, the band will release its third full-length record called ‘Slow’ through Adagio 830, Pike Records, Dog Knights Productions, No Routine and Voice of The Unheard (Fall Of Messiah, PAST, Winter Dust…). The album is streaming on bandcamp and you can check it out below:
