Big Country to headline charity gig in Clydebank

News came our way over the weekend of this excellent rocking charity concert at Clydebank Town Hall courtesy of Mark Barrow who’s organising it. Headlining are Fife success story Big Country, a band who have over the years continued to produce some quality rock music.

Joining them on the bill are Altered Sky, Fluorescent Hearts front man Chris Ashton and young local singer/songwriter Louis Page. The event takes place on March 31st.

The beneficiaries of any profits (every penny after ticket sales that go over the “break even point”) will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust, an organisation well supported – and rightly so – within the rock and metal community. As such, Mark and his team need as many bodies through the door as possible. Having said that with such a good line-up and tickets at only £25, this is destined to be a great night out as well as a fundraiser for a worthy cause.

You can grab tickets from the event’s bigcartel page, or Red Eye Studios and John Browns – both in Clydebank.

John Browns will also be hosting an after-show party, free entry with a wristband courtesy of your gig ticket. Keep yourself updated by following @tct_events on Twitter.

Spread the word and make sure as many people as possible know about this one!
