After 2 years on hiatus metallic rock moguls in Forever Never finally release the official video for reggae fused metal juggernaut “Boombastic” featuring Benji Webbe from Skindred. This single will be available to stream on Spotify from January 1st and released on iTunes on February 14th 2015.
The video for “Boombastic” features footage from their 2012 “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Metal” tour and the Welsh walrus of love himself Benji Webbe appears throughout the video. This cover of Shaggy’s 1995 Number 1 has become a real rock club classic and DJ’s across the UK and Europe continue to play it 2 years after being recorded, the chants of “Mr Lover, Lover” booming from every rock club venue in the country prove the track has lost none of it relevance with today’s hormonally charged youth!
This single provides some closure to the last campaign and is a cheeky little reminder of the brilliance of this Essex metal band whose influences range from Meshuggah and Sevendust to Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson!
Forever Never recently celebrated 10 years as a band where they reflected on touring with some incredible groups including Stone Sour, Skindred, Madina Lake, Fozzy and Stuck Mojo to name but a few. To mark this milestone FN are releasing brand new material which is due to drop in March/April of 2015.
Forever Never have already been confirmed for the Takedown Festival in 2015 and tour dates are currently being arranged for March and April too.
Vocalist Renny Carrol says this about the band’s future:
After a couple of years downtime we are absolutely delighted to be coming back in 2015! With brand new material, a new outlook and perspective, and a renewed fire in our bellies we can’t wait to get back out there. The time off has given us time to be truly appreciative for all the good stuff in life, so expect the usual FN heaviness but with an added extra dollop of positivity! It’s gonna be mega.
