Music, madness, and unicorns intertwine with the essence of Primal Roots, a metal band hailing from Athens, Greece. Formed in 2019, they embarked on a musical journey fusing classic heavy metal with elements of progressive, thrash, doom, and nu-metal, crafting what they dub as “metal outside the box”.
Their inaugural offering, the demo single “Black”, emerged in September ’20, paving the way for their debut album Stand Up, released on July 15, 2022. Subsequently, they unveiled the single and accompanying video clip for “How Little You Know Me” on May 8, 2023.
Primal Roots comprises Rachel Cassar (UK) on vocals, Alejandro Lobato (ESP) on guitar, and Amira Debaieb (TUN) on bass.
Now, they present their latest release: a metal rendition of the iconic track “Gangsta’s Paradise”.
