This is an interesting one, and not new so apologies for those who’ve heard it since it came out last year. “Ennen” is a Finnish version of “Got The Time”, probably best known in metal circles as coming from Anthrax‘s Persistence of Time album. That itself was a thrash version of Joe Jackson’s original which featured on his 1979 debut album Look Sharp!
Anyway, Korpiklaani have musically taken the song in their own direction and, as a bonus, converted the lyrics into Finnish. At least I’m assuming the lyrics are close to the original and not completely new!
