Simple things first – where are you guys from?
Italy.
How did you meet?
Before on social network.
How long have you been playing as a band?
Seven years with Azza and four with Laura.
Before you get sick of being asked… where does the band name come from?
I have always been inspired by the optimistic vision and when I start to think a name of a band, Seraphic Eyes arrived in my mind. It’s the ambition to become so strong that no one fear could stop you, and you become calm in any situation. It’s not how we feel but what we want to become.
What are your influences?
Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and many other alternative rock bands.
Describe your music. What makes you unique?
We play a mix of grunge, punk rock, and 90’s alternative rock but inspired by a vision of a better future if everybody starts to work to create it.
Do you have any particular lyrical themes?
I’m inspired by my life and others’ lives, I’m inspired by love, by my activism, by politics, by economic and social problems… I don’t have a unique muse.
What’s your live show like? How many shows have you played?
Our live shows are full of energy and with funny moments between one song to another ’cause we always joke on stage. We are near to 80 live shows.
What’s the wildest thing you’ve seen or done at a live show?
I don’t know, I like to lose my mind when I play but I don’t have particular memories. What I can say is that we love stage invasions!

What are your plans for 2018?
Try to play at big gigs and try to put our songs on heavy rotation everywhere.
If you were second on a three-band bill, which band would you love to be supporting and which band would you choose to open for you? A chance to plug someone you’ve toured with, or a mate’s band we’ve not heard of before!
Hard question, I know a lot of bands but probably I would like to open for the Foo Fighters and to have Kaos India before us!
