Hatebreed – new lyric video

Hatebreed - The Concrete ConfessionalYeah, we don’t usually do one-off “new video” posts, but I bloody love Hatebreed and didn’t want to keep you waiting until tomorrow’s roundup. So here it is, fresh from upcoming album The Concrete Professional, a typically brutal sledgehammer entitled “A.D.” May 13th can’t roll around fast enough. For more details on the album, see this earlier post.

The band are touring the US comprehensively as well as hitting Europe as part of the touring Impericon Festival which plays Manchester Academy on May 2nd and the O2 Forum in Kentish Town on the 3rd.

Amazon and iTunes pre-order links have just gone live and there are some UK exclusives already available to pre-order from Nuclear Blast; an exclusive CD/beanie bundle, and a limited edition white vinyl version.

Jamey Jasta had this to say about the track:

I grew up believing in the American Dream. That in America, if you work hard, you can achieve anything you want. But today, with government and big business drowning in corruption and greed, the everyday person is being squeezed, so achieving the American Dream is becoming less and less realistic. “A.D.”was a way I could voice my frustration about that.

We all need to pay closer attention to what our elected leaders are doing. Start locally, in your own community, know where your dollar is going, make your representatives accountable.
