Enslaved’s debut album, Vikingligr Veldi is being released on Vinyl on Septermber 23rd. The release coincides with their 25th anniversary European Tour, and will be available in a “Enslaved 25 Webshop edition”, limited to 150 and a regular edition. The astonishing new layout was done by Z. Bielak (Ghost, Mayhem, etc.), and includes four brand new illustrations specially made for this legendary album. Z. Bielak has stayed true to the ideals of the era (it was originally scheduled for release on vinyl in 1993); this 2LP Gatefold with illustrated pockets has been respectfully remastered for vinyl by Iver Sandøy; preserving every bit of original dynamics.

French Melodic Death metallers Aephanemer have released a new track called ‘The Call Of The Wild‘, taken from the band’s much anticipated debut album ‘Memento Mori‘, scheduled for a release on September 16th, 2016 via Primeval Records. Memento Mori was produced by Maciej Dawidek (Widek) at Nova Studio. The artwork was crafted once again by the talented Niklas Sundin (Dark Tranquillity).

Swedish experimental heavy-rock pioneers Opeth have released the second instalment, “Studio Report – Episode 2,” of their in-depth, behind the scenes series on the making of their 12th studio album, Sorceress. The highly-anticipated record is due out on September 30th via the band’s imprint label Moderbolaget Records with Nuclear Blast Entertainment.
Pain, the Swedish metal force led by multi-instrumentalist and producer Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Lindemann), are ready to unleash the follow-up to 2011’s You Only Live Twice. After the substantial success of Peter’s Lindemann project with Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann, he retreated and took time to write another industrial metal album entitled Coming Home.
