International all-female metal collective Chaos Rising have releases their twenty-ninth(!) single and video today.
“The Worst Is To Come” is a thrash metal song written by Stéphanie Nolf (Unsafe- France) and Pitchu Ferraz (ex-Nervosa – Brazil), featuring Haru Cage on vocals (Corja – Brazil), Pitchu Ferraz (As Mercenarias, Wonder Maidens – Brazil) on drums and percussion instruments, Dé Bermudez on bass (Wonder Maidens – Brazil), and Stéphanie Nolf (Unsafe- France) on guitar.
Founded by French multi-instrumentalist Stéphanie Nolf, Chaos Rising is a unique project that brings together female metal musicians from across the globe. “The Worst Is To Come” is inspired by old school thrash metal, a song reminiscent of Sepultura’s first albums.
The lyrics are committed, they address social problems, violence, corruption and therefore the need to come together around common values to defend peace and justice.
