German black metal band Erstarren have released their new EP Zu Asche. The release was recorded, mixed and mastered by Dyret (Waldseel) in Albthron Studios.
Erstarren was formed in 2017 by D.H. (drums) and Draugr (guitar) in Wolfsburg, Germany, later joined by Dyret on vocals and rhythm guitar. Their debut EP Aufbruch dropped in 2018, followed by the full-length Tiefenrausch in 2020. Erstarren delivers a powerful blend of atmospheric and hypnotic black metal, spanning all frequencies and driven by intense, harsh vocals that complete their immersive sonic experience.
