Like the rest of the UK and Worldwide Metal Community the death of Ozzy came as a blow to UK Thrashers Blacklist. Black Sabbath and Ozzy are a core influences to everything that is done in the metal world, and Blacklist wear those influences on their sleeves… well at least Tyler (Vocals and Lead Guitar) does as he has a Portrait of The Prince Of Darkness tattooed on his arm for all to see!
Whilst saying goodbye to Ozzy was a sad occasion, it’s also a time to reflect on the great music that he created, and to celebrate his life the Blacklist lads have recorded a thrashed up cover of “Barl At The Moon”.
Recorded, Mixed and Mastered at Tone Death Studios in Blackpool the single is available for PAY WHAT YOU WANT via the UK Thrashers Bandcamp page – with any proceeds being donated to Parkinson’s UK.
So join us in celebrating Ozzy, and helping Parkinson’s UK continue to support those with the disease live their lives symptom free!
