International alternative/modern rock band Black Sonic Pearls have released their live video “Doctor Alibi”, featuring Todd Kerns, covering a Slash song from his self-titled album. The release was filmed during the band’s performance at Metalfest Plzen Festival 2024.
Black Sonic Pearls was formed in late 2020 by Alex Blacksonic (guitar), Arseniy Borodin (vocals), Sergey Polyanskiy (guitar) and Mikhael Kiriyushchenko (drums) taking inspiration from everything from the Seattle grunge scene of the ’90s to alternative metal of the 00s and later on. During 2022-2023 the band spent most of their time playing on the biggest metal festivals including Masters Of Rock, Rock Castle, Metalheads Meeting, Midalidare Rock, Dubai Metal Fest and many more sharing the stage with everyone from Judas Priest and Ville Valo to Scorpions and Pantera. In March 2024 the band will join Slash in his Asian leg of The River Is Rising tour.
