After 33 fans were injured last year, you’d think that lightning couldn’t strike in the same place twice. Well it has, unfortunately.
Rock Am Ring have recently posted information on their facebook page about a similar incident this year. Doctors and first aid staff on site cared for the 42 fans affected by the strike and one had to be resuscitated. Those affected have been transferred to hospital.

The festival re-commenced after some delay after the organisers consulted with emergency services. There is a noted risk of more thunderstorms between 17:00 and 20:00 tonight (Saturday) in the area.
