Emerging from the depths of the Danish hardcore scene, SPLIT is here to make their mark with the release of their debut single, “Stronger Than Ever”, featuring Simon Shoshan, vocalist of Danish hardcore heavyweights Lifesick. This explosive track showcases SPLIT’s signature hard-hitting sound, blending intensity with carefully crafted structure, making it instantly accessible and deeply resonant with fans of the genre. Accompanied by a dynamic music video, “Stronger Than Ever” sets the stage for the band’s entry onto the scene.
“We want to create a space where everyone feels welcome,” says frontman Benjamin Jeppesen. “Hardcore is about unity, strength, and passion, and with SPLIT, we aim to share that spirit—not just with Denmark, but with the entire world.”
SPLIT vocalist and songwriter Benjamin Jeppesen’s journey in music began in the vibrant streets of New York City, where as a teenager, he honed his skills as a guitarist with the band The Dead Are Living. By age 14, he was already sharing stages with renowned acts like I See Stars, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Eyes Set to Kill. This early exposure to the music scene fueled a passion for hardcore that would eventually culminate in the creation of SPLIT.
In 2024, Benjamin formed SPLIT with a clear vision: to push the boundaries of the genre and bring hardcore to new audiences. Backed by his talented bandmates Viktor, Linus, Aske, and Anders, SPLIT is poised to leave a lasting mark on the global hardcore scene.
