Smash Into Pieces
Following the announcement last week of their forthcoming 9th studio album, Ghost Code, which will be released on April 12th 2024 via Sony Music, the band have returned with new single “Trigger” and give viewers a chance to experience the next chapter of the story within the Arcadia world today with the track’s accompanying music video.
Wake Up Hate
YouTube’s algorithms threw this one our way and it’s a decent modern metal number. Definitely a band we’ll be looking out for, though the last thing we have about them in our mailbox is from 2019!

Molosser Crude
Molosser Crude let loose a new live video for “Howl” from Doom New Year. As usual, hard-hitting drummer Tess is also handling the vocals while guitarist Jahn bangs ut licks and riffs through one bass amp and two guitar amps, but on this new track (to be released later this spring as one of the duo’s first properly studio recorded singles) they have taken a step in a somewhat doomier direction than their previous stoner/heavy blues sound. Still the same combination of relentless heaviness and melodic vocals, though.
Lilith’s Black Lotus
After some previews in the past months and two compelling and solid singles, Triple Six Revolution, the new album from Lilith’s Black Lotus, is out on all online platforms.
The band is based in Germany and led by the Italian mastermind, Jackie J. Vampire. The full-length album features eight aggressive tracks showcasing sharp riffs and unstoppable grooves that support the melodic evolutions of the British lead singer, Evan Madgin. He effortlessly alternates between growls and clean parts, demonstrating technical mastery.
