The last few weeks have been mental. So much stuff coming through, so many tours restarting and a wealth of new releases. Here is a tiny sample from an enormous pile of recent video releases.

Vancouver, BC pop-punks Chief State are back with a new single titled “Team Wiped” off their just-announced upcoming debut full-length Waiting For Your Colours which will be released via Mutant League Records on July 1. Pre-orders for the album will be launching soon.

Yojimbo

2 years and a half after its official inception, French intergalactic stoner-rock band Yojimbo is about to give birth to its debut EP planned for a digital release on March 26th through all streaming services.

In the meantime, the band offers a first glimpse from this record with the live video rendition of the single “Battleffield” available right now through the MrDoom YouTube Channel.

Tableau Mort

UK extreme metal outfit Tableau Mort have released a lyric video for their newest single “Candle In The Darkness” taken from their forthcoming album Visio In Somniis available May 6th, 2022 via Cult Of Parthenope. “Candle In The Darkness” features Italian opera singer Laura Delogu and was mixed and mastered by Neil Haynes at Parlour Studios (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, Amorphis). The artwork was crafted by Alex Shadrin at Nether Temple Design who collaborated with the band on all their previous releases.

Achachak

After At The Bottom Of The Sea and High Mountain, Achachak returns from the journey and brings us their third studio album Planet Hashish.

It has been hypothesized that the planet Hash was formed by the collision of a planetoid with the planet Earth billions of years ago.” says the band and explains how the concept album came more as a logical sequence of events that we’re all in.

So far the fiercest, most direct and most challenging album we could make!

With the album the band also presents a video for the song “Breathe” with Robert Ĺ ostar in the lead role. The song is a depiction of the fear of losing your own ground under your own feet. The album is available to buy and stream now.

Crobot

Crobot have announced that their new album Feel This will be released on June 3rd via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group. Along with the announcement, the band have also dropped the video for the brilliant new single “Better Times”.
