Bloody hell, there’s a lot of new stuff out today. Were all the bands waiting for January to finish or something? Anyway, here’s a selection from the big bunch o’ emails…

Arch Enemy

No introduction needed for this crowd of noise merchants. On July 29th, extreme metal masters Arch Enemy will release their 11th studio album, Deceivers, via Century Media Records. The first single from it, “Handshake With Hell” should be streaming on YouTube by the time you read this (ie after 5pm GMT).

Mystic Circle

2022 – the year of Mystic Circle’s return – is finally here and today marks the release of their self-titled comeback album via Atomic Fire Records. To celebrate the release day of Mystic Circle, the band reveals their third video, for the hellish track “Darkness In Flames”.

Kreator

The mighty Kreator are proud to announce their fifteenth studio album, Hate Ãœber Alles, which will be released on June 3rd, 2022. Today also marks the release of the first new Kreator single, the vicious title track “Hate Ãœber Alles”, for which the band has produced a thrilling music video that should be mandatory viewing for every metal fan!

Marillion

Marillion share their deep reflection on human interaction in the current global situation with their most upbeat single in many years. “Murder Machines” is a song that was born in the challenging times of lockdown and social distancing and has become so much more than just a mirror of our times, more than a song that deals with the precious as well as dark sides of human relationships.

The band’s 20th studio album An Hour Before It’s Dark will be released on March 4th, 2022.

Until 9

Sheffield’s Until 9 release their new video for debut single “Headstone”, out now. Their debut EP, Look At Me Now, will be released on March 25th.

Induction
