Video Roundup: My Funeral / Lock Up / The Fallen State / Awake at Last / Noctiferia / BOI

Well, that was a crap bank holiday as far as weather went. Time to warm things up!

My Funeral

Helsinki-based crossover thrash band My Funeral have just released their new single “Flamethrower”.

“Flamethrower” represents the group’s efforts at a darker, grittier return. When the world and the mind are on fire, does anything go back to the way it used to be?

Lock Up

Legendary grindcore death metal band Lock Up (official) are releasing a limited edition vinyl of their live album Play Fast or Die – Live in Japan on Listenable records. First copies will come with a limited edition bonus 7inch entitled “Inside Cthulhu’s Eye” including new recordings and a glorious Repulsion cover featuring the stunning talent of Adam Jarvis on drums (Pig Destroyer, Misery Index) with both Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates) back to the band and Kevin Sharp (Brutal Truth) on vocals.

Shane Embury comments: “I am super stoked with our video for ‘Inside Cthulhu’s Eye'” from Chariot of Black Moth. It captures the right balance of concept and chaos! It’s been a long 13 months and hearing this song back for the first time in a while I can’t wait for our album to be mixed… play fast or die!”

Awake at Last

Awake at Last released their new single titled “Armageddon” to all digital outlets via The Fuel Music. The band’s vocalist, Vincent Torres, tells us:

“‘Armageddon’ is a song that reflects the time in which it was written. It’s a song of loss, and uncertainty, but it’s also a song about hope, and the energy that connects all people together.”
