Exclusive: new video from Slave Steel – “Blessed Is the Mess”

“Blessed Is the Mess” is the third release from an upcoming 5-track EP to be released by Slave Steel in spring 2021. The first, “Ogre Cage”, was released in September last year and we premiered song number two, “Shut” in December.

The song was recorded and mixed at Rogue Studio by Alessio Garavello, and mastered at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren (they have worked with Kreator, Sepultura, Arch Enemy, At The Gates, and many others). The video is the work of the ever-wonderful Very Metal Art.

Right from the off the video conveys the pounding, industrial tones of the song. Four minutes exactly of angry bitterness wrapped in sepia tones.

Slave Steel tell us:

The song is about creation and abuse of dogmas by the masses. People are fed with something to believe in, yet they don’t realize that same obsession makes reality even more confusing and aberrant.
