Video Premiere: Gianni Paci – I’m Still Here

Today is Suicide Prevention Day and to raise awareness, Gianni Paci has released his new single “I’m Still Here”. It’s a survivor’s anthem that emphasises perseverance in the face of adversity.

With his latest audio/video release, “I’m Still Here,” Gianni Paci is nowhere to be seen, but instead only heard. We are treated to dancer/choreographer Emilia Bunich’s meaningful movement and Scott Harrigan’s quick and nimble camera work, the two weaving in and around each other in a sort of hypnotic groove. The video was directed, produced and edited by Paci, and the song bears his signature vertically-integrated, McCartney-esque touch, being written, produced, recorded and performed on all instruments by him alone at his Pine Hollow Road Studios.

While the metaphor of his physical absence won’t be lost on many in the context of this positively ferocious track — have a parse through those thorny lyrics – the question remains: would we miss him if he were gone?
