Video Roundup: Wolfheart / Fallujah / Allegaeon / Deserted Fear / Evergrey

Been a while since we’ve had one of these but here’s a selection of new videos that came out over the past few days.

Wolfheart

Wolfheart took a short break from their extensive touring in 2018, just to put the recorded live video material together to a nine-minute-long live video for their epic album opener “Everlasting Fall”. Taken from their last release Constellation Of The Black Light (reviewed here), the video leads you right into the grim coldness of Finland, performed in hot concert halls. The band also have a whole host of tour dates which can viewed on their website.

Deserted Fear

Thuringia based death metal force Deserted Fear have revealed the last single of their upcoming album Drowned By Humanity. The band say:

“This week we present you “Reflect the Storm”, the last appetiser before the official album release. Drowned By Humanity is a very intimate record which comprises various emotions. As we returned from our Europe tour at the end of 2017, we directly began to write new songs and this song conveys the feeling of being on road like no other. “Reflect the Storm” is an ode to our fans, event organisers, bands and our crew – people whom we have met on tour and who have become our friends!”

Evergrey

Evergrey’s stunning new studio album, The Atlantic (review here) is out now on AFM Records. The band recently released their official video for “End Of Silence” (directed by Patrick Ullaeus) and you can watch it below.
The band state:

“Here’s “End of Silence” accompanied by live clips from this weekends show in Gothenburg! This is of course courtesy of the King Patrick Ullaeus and rEvolver who made a super great work showcasing us live!”

Allegaeon

On April 19th, Allegaeon will release their new album, Apoptosis, via Metal Blade Records. A near-perfect symbiosis of technical, progressive, and melodic death metal, Apoptosis is a record that is as crushingly heavy as it is inventive, lithe and intelligent, and marks a significant leap forward in the band’s songwriting. The first single, “Stellar Tidal Disruption” can be viewed below.

Fallujah

Fallujah are currently gearing up to release their highly anticipated new album Undying Light via Nuclear Blast Records. In this first video, the band introduce their new vocalist Anthony Palermo and how he came to join the band. Both Fallujah and Allegaeon are on tour at the moment and are hitting the UK next week. Dates are below:

February 2019:

  • 4th BRISTOL – The Fleece
  • 5th DUBLIN – Voodoo Lounge
  • 6th GLASGOW – Cathouse
  • 7th MANCHESTER – Rebellion
  • 8th LONDON – O2 Academy Islington
