Video Roundup: Iced Earth, Unlocking The Truth, The Final Clause of Tacitus, Sister Shotgun, Black Ink, Go Primitive

Friday Fever!

Iced Earth – “Black Flag”

Here it comes: US metal masters Iced Earth have released a jaw-dropping new video to the song “Black Flag” from the current masterpiece Incorruptible. “Black Flag” is one of the most epic tunes on IncorruptibleĀ and a monumental elegy of treason, oppression and the fight for freedom.

Unlocking The Truth – “My Chains”

By now, the story of teenage metal trio Unlocking The Truth (who walked away from a seven-figure deal with Sony) is well known. After years of media excitement, late-night TV appearances, and breakout sets at Coachella and Bonnaroo, the band’s debut album Chaos was finally released independently last year. The Brooklyn-based band is now back with a new music video for their latest single “My Chains”. The video (directed by JP Brasca) cuts through much of the hype surrounding the group and shows a different side of the band.

“We wanted the video to show that Unlocking The Truth has more to offer than just a good song,” says guitarist/vocalist Malcolm Brickhouse. “The video and song both push the envelope for ‘the norm’ in metal music. It’s fresh. It’s new. It’s MY CHAINS!”

The Final Clause of Tacitus – “7 Years”

Finishing off what has been a hugely successful year on a high, Reading’s genre-melding quartet The Final Clause Of Tacitus have unveiled one of the year’s most awesome music videos for their single “7 Years”.

Sister Shotgun – “Silhouettes”

Sister Shotgun are a five-piece modern rock band from the West Midlands who create engaging anthemic hooks served with hard-hitting, yet melodic guitar riffs. The Brit rockers now deliver their explosive new single, “Silhouettes”.

Black Ink – “Lights Out”

Nottingham based metalcore quintet Black Ink have released their new video for single “Lights Out”. The single received its first exclusive radio airplay with Alex Baker on his Kerrang Radio Fresh Blood Show.

For fans of Killswitch Engage and The Ghost Inside, Black Ink are highly influenced by bands that break the metalcore mould by introducing other musical elements. They experiment with different styles, whilst still staying true to their roots.

Go Primitive – “A Different Person”

Midlands four-piece Go Primitive have released the brand new video for “A Different Person” the explosive second single taken from their forthcoming debut album, Choices, out February 23rd 2018.
