Video Roundup: Red Fang, Ghost Toast, Massmatiks, Iron Monkey, SIMO, Skies in Motion

Been a while since I’ve done one of these so let’s get right into it.

Red Fang “Not For You”

Portland rockers Red Fang add to their canon of comedic clips, debuting the animated video for “Not For You” directed by Balázs Gróf. Additionally, Red Fang kicks off their headline US West Coast tour next week on October 17 in Eugene, OR. Support will be provided by Once & Future Band, Fireball Ministry and All Souls on select dates. Red Fang will close out the year with a European tour supporting Mastodon and Russian Circles through November and December. Finally, Red Fang adds to their non-stop tour schedule announcing 2018 concerts with Black Label Society and Corrosion of Conformity through January and February.

Ghost Toast – “Last Man”

Hungarian instrumental, experimental progressive rock band Ghost Toast released a new music video “Last Man”, taken from the critically-acclaimed Out of This World album which was released June 7th 2017 by Inverse Records. The song was inspired by the novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, and two movie adaptations (Last Man on Earth and Omega Man), the speech samples are from these movies as well.

Massmatiks – “One Foot in This Club”

Indie alternative quartet Massmatiks revealed their brand new music video for single ‘One Foot In This Club’ earlier this week. The video premiered with idobi radio.

Iron Monkey – “Crown of Electrodes”

Cult UK doom/sludge outfit Iron Monkey has shared the official visualizer video for “Crown of Electrodes”, the first track off 9-13, first new full-length in almost two decades. 9-13 is set for release on October 20th on CD/LP/Digital via Relapse Records.

SIMO – “Shine”

Following the release of their brilliant new album Rise & Shine, out now via Provogue/Mascot Label Group, Nashville trio SIMO have released a visually stunning video for their new single “Shine”. Rise & Shine introduces the band’s elastic, expanded sound, which blurs the lines between genres and generations throughout the album’s 11 tracks. SIMO’s previous release, Let Love Show the Way, was a spot-on salute to the band’s rock & roll influences, full of big amplifiers, vintage vibe, and plenty of volume.

Skies in Motion – “When Home Feels Distant And Distance Feels Like Home”

Metal outfit Skies in Motion have released the video for their latest single ‘When Home Feels Distant And Distance Feels Like Home’, taken from their recently released debut album Life Lessons. The video precedes the band’s forthcoming UK tour, which includes headline dates as well as one-off shows supporting Kingdom Of Giants and In Hearts Wake.
