Chronus – “Baron”
Swedish rock/metal band, Chronus, have released a music video for “Baron”, the song is taken from their self-titled debut album, due out on October 27th, 2017 in Europe on Ellefson Music Productions, aka EMP LABEL GROUP, the label of legendary Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.
Witchery – “Of Blackened Wing”
Swedish blackened thrash metallers Witchery are now launching a second single and video for the track “Of Blackened Wing”, off their upcoming album I Am Legion, to be released on November 10th, 2017 via Century Media Records.
Guitarist Jensen checked in with the following comment:
“Of Blackened Wing” is a song that perfectly combines both the old and new sounds of Witchery. It mixes the thrashing touch of old with the grittiness and rawness of new. It’s one of my personal favorites on the I Am Legion album and it will definitely be a part of our set for our upcoming live shows.
Mithridatic – “Miserable Miracle (live)”
In 2007, blackened death metal dark matter particles aggregated and formed Mithridatic. In 2016, they burst forth with a European tour, a date of which they filmed and will shortly release as He Who Lies Underneath.
Filmed with multiple cameras and professionally recorded in their hometown of Saint-Etienne, France, He Who Lies Underneath is a full concert that will plunge the audience into a whirlwind of a nauseating, oppressing and sickening experience through nine tracks retracing the band’s ten years-long career. Loincloth – “Bestial Infernal”
Virginia/North Carolina-based instrumental metal ministers Loincloth have shared an official video for “Bestial Infernal” the track hailing from their final LP Psalm Of The Morbid Whore, which was issued last week through Southern Lord.
Metalite – “Nightmare”
The Swedish melodic metal band Metalite just released a lyric video for “Nightmare”, the second single from their debut album Heroes In Time. Heroes In Time will be released on October 27th in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings. Click through to the video on YouTube for about 20 pre-order links!
De Profundis – “Beyond the Threshold”
“Beyond The Threshold” originally appeared on the De Profundis album Kingdom Of The Blind, but has been especially remastered for this video presentation (premiered originally over on Zero Tolerance) by Tom Sullivan, the man responsible for the powerful remastering work on De Profundis’ recent career retrospective album, Decayed: 2007 – 2017.
The sonically enhanced “Beyond The Threshold” is accompanied by professionally filmed footage of the band performing the track at London’s Tufnell Park Dome and the combined sounds and images make for a magnificent representation of one of the heaviest and most inventive death metal bands on the scene.
