Witchery – “True North”

Following up last year’s acclaimed In His Infernal Majesty’s Service album, Swedish blackened thrash metallers Witchery have announced the release of their new album I Am Legion for November 10th, 2017 via Century Media Records. The album’s first single “True North” is being launched today with a video produced by Niklas Sundin/Cabin fever media.

Peter and the Test Tube Babies – “Crap Californian Punk Band”

UK punk legends Peter and the Test Tube Babies have released the official video for new track “Crap Californian Punk Band”. The video was shot in sunny Hastings and features cameo appearances by Rancid main man Lars Fredericksen and Hasting’s own Maid Of Ace. Eagle eyed viewers may also notice that all is not what it seems with the band.

Septicflesh – “Portrait of a Headless Man”

The highly anticipated tenth Septicflesh full-length, Codex Omega (which Ricky has just reviewed) has finally hit the shops The Greek masters of symphonic death metal are celebrating this occasion by releasing a video clip for the track “Portrait of a Headless Man”.

Sarke – “Dagger Entombed”

Sarke releases their fifth full-lenght Viige Urh October 13. Well known members of this band include Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone), Sarke (Khold, Tulus), Ander Hunstad (El Caco) and Steinar Gundersen (Satyricon). The first snippet of the upcoming album is available today – their first single Dagger Entombed is out now! Sarke says:

“Dagger Entombed” will be the first taste from our new album Viige Urh. This track has a thumb up guarantee. True spirit of metal, dark and heavy. Viige Urh is on fire and it will be on fire for a long time. We feel we have taken Sarke up to a new level. With the songwriting, the sound and the heaviness of the album.

Ulster Page – “In the Explosion”

Written after a fight in which two band members were involved, “In The Explosion” is the opening track of Memory, Ulster Page’s first effort. Directed from A to Z by the musicians themselves, this video translates into image the tension one can feel during a conflict, the importance of keeping calm, and the loss of control which may sometimes ensue.
