Video Roundup: Everyday Heroes, Vanity, Heat of Damage, The Haxans, Metalite, Devangelic

Is it only Tuesday? I’m ready to drop already. Maybe this little pick-me-up will help…

Everyday Heroes – “The Ballad of Robert Johnson”

South Wales hard rock band Everyday Heroes has released the official music video for their track “The Ballad of Robert Johnson”, from their EP The Other Side of Nowhere. The sophomore effort showcases the band’s individual songwriting skills, resulting in richly diverse riffs, infectious melodies, focused rhythms, and complex lyrics.

Vanity – “Affinity”

Sinister Brit metallers Vanity release their blistering sophomore EP Perspective // Empathy, on Friday 22nd September. Before then, the engulfing riff lords have revealed the stunning new video for “Affinity”.

Heat Of Damage – “The Gift”

California rock/metal band Heat of Damage has released the official music video for “The Gift”, the debut single off of their upcoming sophomore LP, due out next year. “The Gift” was shot and directed by Ethan Parilla of Atrocious Works Productions.

The Haxans – “Black Cat Bone”

The Haxans (Ash Costello & Matt Montgomery) have premiered their new music video for the song “Black Cat Bone”. The track is featured on the group’s debut album, Party Monsters, which comes out on October 13th (Friday the 13th!). Speaking about the new song and corresponding music video, Ash Costello (vocals) states:

I love every Haxans song but “Black Cat Bone” holds a special place in my heart. It’s the perfect marriage between classic rock and dance rhythms. The icing on the cake are Matt’s deep vocals! It’s a Halloween party must that will keep you shakin’ a feather year round. It’s also one of the very first songs we did together for The Haxans, it embodies a little bit of each slice that makes up the entire Haxans pie!

Metalite – “Afterlife”

The Swedish melodic metal band Metalite just released a music video for “Afterlife”, the first single from their debut album Heroes In Time. The music video was directed by 11Frames Productions (Hammerfall, The Unguided). Heroes In Time will be released on October 27th in Europe and North America.

Devangelic – “Of Maggots and Disease”

Comatose Music presents the latest full length of the Italian brutal death metal masters Devangelic who shook the world with their smashing debut. Heavier and darker, their new album not only upholds the band’s high standards but it takes it several notches higher. The music on Phlegethon is intricate but not at the expense of their renowned brutality. The artwork for the new release is done by Sarafin Concepts and encapsulates the concept that revolves around Dante’s Inferno. Watch out for this ambitious brutal death metal release that’s bound to leave a mark on October 27th.
