No way we can fit in all the videos we’ve received over the last 24 hours as there have been so many! Here’s a – hopefully – nice cross-section of recent releases…
Traits – “We’re All a Dick Sometimes”
They got in touch and asked if I liked their video. I do. So I’m sharing it. Enjoy! If you do, you can get their EP from bandcamp.
Hayseed Dixie – “Oliver’s Army”
They’re back at it again, taking classic pop/rock tracks and adding a bluegrass tweek. Get your banjo-twanging fingers warmed up with this new video from Hayseed Dixie, taken from the 2017 album, Free Your Mind and Your Grass Will Follow.
PVRIS – “Winter”
This apparently isn’t a video, but a “visualette” which is a new one on me. Definitely better than a “static video”, which seems like a contradiction in terms. Anyway… PVRIS has released “Winter”, the fourth track off their upcoming album, All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell and accompanied it with one of these visualette thingies.
“Winter” follows the recent release of “Half”, “What’s Wrong” and “Heaven”, and all four songs are available as instant downloads by pre-ordering the album ahead of its August 25 release date.
Discrepancies – “Art of War”
St. Louis rap/rock band Discrepancies has released the official music video for their single, “Art of War”, off of their 2016 debut album The Awakening.
Black Country Communion – “Collide”
Black Country Communion are launching a video for “Collide” to coincide with the start of the ticket pre-sale for their exclusive UK tour dates. The track is lifted from their brand new album BCCIV, released on Friday 22nd September.
The band play two UK dates in January 2018:
- Wolverhampton Civic Hall – Tuesday 2nd
- London Hammersmith Apollo – Thursday 4th
Pre-sale now on via Planet Rock, general sale kicks in tomorrow.
Demonstealer – “The Last Jester Dance (feat. George Kollias)”
Demonstealer has released a new lyric video/playthrough video. Says Sahil Makhija (aka Demonstealer) –
Even though the release is over a year old now I always want to release a video for every song on the album, which is why this video comes out now. It’s been one of the more popular songs among fans and it’s one of my personal favourites from the album and so I decided to release this guitar play-through and lyric video all rolled into one.
The band recently announced a new single which will feature Benighted drummer Kevin Paradis. More details will be revealed soon.
