Video Roundup: Maxime Ginolin, Marty Friedman, Simo, Devilskin, Incantation, Krystalyan

So many good videos, so many good new tracks…

Maxime Ginolin – “Zombie’s World”

Maxime Ginolin is a composer, singer, director and actor who found his inspiration with artists such as Jim Carrey, Kurt Cobain and Andy Kaufman. In 2010, his career takes a schizophrenic turn, when the fantastic character of MagiCJacK appears. Maxime Ginolin realizes his works with an aesthetic close to that of Tim Burton and the theatrical violence of the rocky horror picture show.

Today he presents his new project a clip entitled “Zombie’s World”, a dystopian society of undead, a metaphor of our modern world, where the brain of humans has been devoured by politics, junk food and religions.

Marty Friedman – “Whiteworm”

Most famed for being part of the “classic” Megadeth lineup, Marty Friedman has continued to create solo guitar masterworks since he parted company with Megadave. The latest, Wall of Sound, is out now and he’s just released a video for the track “Whiteworm” from it.

Simo – “People Say”

Rise & Shine is the new album from Nashville trio Simo, which will be released on 15 September 2017 on Provogue/Mascot Label Group. The band have issued a video for the track “People Say” from this new work which they say “is an album about change.”

Devilskin – Believe in Me

Following an epic debut appearance at Download 2017 in a rammed tent, Devilskin proudly unveil the brand new video for the swaggering “Believe in Me”. The “Believe in Me” video was filmed while the New Zealand band were in the UK for Download, following a tour with Airbourne. This hard hitting love song is taken from their new album Be Like the River, recently included in Metal Hammer’s Best Albums of 2017 so far list.

Incantation – “Lus Sepulcri”

Vertigo-inducing death metal overlords Incantation have dropped a festering and fetid new song, “Lus Sepulcri”, in the form of a dark and foreboding lyric video. The song is taken from their forthcoming tenth full-length album, entitled Profane Nexus. The album hits streets on August 11th via Relapse Records.

Krystalyan – “Liberate”

Krystalyan have decided to release a lyric video from their upcoming second album Rise from The Ashes (22 September 2017), mixed and mastered by Antoine Baril (Augury, Contemplator) at Hemisphere studio. The lyric video for “Liberate” was created by François Bertrand of Silver Wings Studios in Montreal.
