Video Roundup: Jasta, PVRIS, Gatecreeper, Propagandhi, Novelists, Bella Rose

Rounding up the videos, rounding up the week…

Jasta – “The Same Flame”

Hatebreed frontman Jamie Jasta is about to head one on a handful of Euro-dates which sadly don’t include any UK shows for his self-named side project. At least we get this video for “The Same Flame” from his second album, The Lost Chapters, to tide us over.

PVRIS – “Anyone Else”

PVRIS lead vocalist Lynn Gunn co-directed the “Anyone Else” video with Raul Gonzo (who’s directed every PVRIS video to date) and collaborated on the concept with Courtney Scarr (who’s seen dancing in the video). “Anyone Else” is the newest video/song from upcoming album, All We Know of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell.

Gatecreeper – “Stronghold”

Arizona death metal unit Gatecreeper have shared a new video for “Stronghold” off the 2016 released full-length Sonoran Depravation. The video features footage from the Peoples Temple Agricultural Project, better known as “Jonestown”, on November 18, 1978. Catch the band on the road next month:

  • Sep 17 Bristol, UK The Exchange
  • Sep 18 London, UK Black Heart
  • Sep 19 Glasgow, UK Audio
  • Sep 20 Leeds, UK Temple of Boom

Propagandhi – “Failed Imagineer”

Propagandhi have released a new video for the song “Failed Imagineer”. Due out September 29th on Epitaph, Victory Lap is Propagandhi’s first full-length since 2012’s Failed States.

Propagandhi have brought an emphatic anti-fascist message to their music since forming in Manitoba in 1986. With Victory Lap marking their first album featuring new guitarist Sulynn Hago, the band’s lineup also includes frontman Chris Hannah, bassist Todd Kowalski, and drummer Jord Samolesky. Along with addressing a number of personal losses suffered in recent years, Victory Lap finds the band facing a landscape in which fascism is—among a certain crowd—suddenly trendy.

Novelists – “A Bitter End”

Up and coming modern progressive metal outfit Novelists have released the new music video for “A Bitter End”. The song comes off of their upcoming second album Noir which will be released on the 8th of September via Arising Empire & SharpTone Records.

Bella Rose – “Trouble”

Hard rock quartet Bella Rose has premiered their new single and video titled, “Trouble”. The video comes as a prequel to the group’s debut music video, “The Wayside”, with the first scene of the new video, leading in with an inebriated stumble into the opening location for “The Wayside”.
