PR companies tend to go relatively quiet over the weekend which gives us a chance to catch up on the weekly deluge, and throw in a couple of videos we’ve missed or just found out about. The first two fall into that category…
Blue Helix – “Aliens”
We randomly came across this bunch on Twitter and they sent us a link to their most recent video. What. A. Song. One of the most beautiful and emotive rock ballads we’ve heard in quite some time. Expect to hear more from/about Blue Helix on these virtual pages soon.
CJ Wildheart – “Kiss It”
Wildhearts founder member CJ is back with another solo album, again funded through PledgeMusic. Blood is out on October 20th and obviously pre-orders will help the band! We’ve got a copy for review and will have the skinny on it for you before the due date. In the meantime, here’s a brain-smashing sample.
No Limited Spiral – “Gestalt – Eve”
Japanese melodic death metal combo No Limited Spiral are proud to announce that “Gestalt – Eve” official video is out now. “Gestalt – Eve” is a track taken from the band’s latest album Into the Marinesnow, already available on all digital stores via Wormholedeath/The Orchard and Wormholedeath Japan worldwide. The CD will be released on September the 22nd 2017.
As A Conceit – “Hindered (guitar playthrough)”
Still riding the wave of their latest effort – Frown Upon Us, released in December 2016 – and pumped after their latest festival announcement, Ancient Astronaut Festival, As A Conceit gets once again in front of the camera to showcase their riffing skills, and decided to drop a playthrough for their track “Hindered”.
Hollywood Undead – “Whatever It Takes”
Hollywood Undead have just released the second track/video from their forthcoming album called “Whatever It Takes”, hot on the heels of “California Dreaming” a couple of weeks ago. The band’s own Charlie Scene co-directed the clip and remarked:
The song is about being driven by your own determination to succeed no matter what anyone else thinks. I wanted the video to show that same message.
The album, V, is out on October 27th.
