Monday Video Roundup: Resolve, Happyness, Raw Silk, Karmia, Foscor, MindMaze

Welcome to the bank holiday where you can’t palm your kids off onto a teacher for six hours and actually have to spend time with them yourself. Note that I’m both a parent and a teacher so I’m screwed either way…

Resolve – “Abyss”

Resolve are from Lyon and just dropped their second release. I’ll let them tell you about it:

“Abyss” is the second song we wrote and one of our favourites. It’s one of those tracks you can’t wait to show everyone as soon as you’re out of the studio. We feel it’s the right balance between rawness and emotion, lyrically and musically. Filming the music video in the coldest water wasn’t easy but it has proved to be totally worth it in the end.

Happyness – “Through Windows”

In the wake of the release of Happyness’ new album Write In – and as their biggest UK headline tour to date comes to a close with last week’s London show at The Dome on April 28 – the band have released a video to accompany the album’s most popular, and most surprising, single “Through Windows”.

Raw Silk – “One Lifetime”

Raw Silk are very excited to announce the release of their new album The Borders of Light (order it now) along with their second single and lyric video “One Lifetime”.

Karmia – “Tuhka”

The Tuhka EP is the second release from the Finnish rock band Karmia after changing their lyrics from English to Finnish. In the early 2010’s while forming the band they took influences from the Japanese Visual Kei scene, but have recently shifted closer towards their melancholic Finnish roots.

Foscor – “Instants”

Foscor are now revealing a video for the next track taken from their forthcoming fifth full-length, Les Irreals Visions, which has been slated for release on June 9th.

MindMaze – “One More Moment”

The US progressive power metal band MindMaze recently released a lyric video for “One More Moment”, the second single from their new album “Resolve“. The album was released on April 28th in Europe and North America through Inner Wound Recordings.
