Thursday Video Roundup: Weirds, Carved, Ghost Iris, William Control, The Fallen State, The Royal

Anyone else in Glasgow still deaf / aching / in hospital after last night’s Anthrax gig? Wasn’t it great? WASN’T IT?!

Weirds – “Valley of Vision”

A testament to DIY music, Weirds are a fully immersive, musical experience. Hailing from Leeds, relentless touring and rehearsing in previous bands fuelled the volcanic foundation to hatch their own breed of psych grunge. Kickstarting a new chapter today, Weirds reveal new video “Valley of Vision”, summoning you to a macabre dystopia. Stained with caustic guitar feedback and Wasp synthesisers, the track is taken from their anticipated debut album due later this year on Alcopop! Records.

You can catch them on the road in March, headlining, before they tour the UK again in April with The Wytches.

Carved – “The Burning Joke”

A bit of Italian melo-death for you, from Carved.

Ghost Iris – “Save Yourself”

Ghost Iris have released new single and video “Save Yourself” from their upcoming album Blind World.

William Control – “Analog Flesh In A Digital World”

As William Control prepares to release The Black E.P., the second instalment in the Revelations series this Friday, he has treated fans to the first taste of what he has to offer, with the release of single “Analog Flesh In A Digital World”.

The Fallen State – “Nova”

The Fallen State announce their new EP The View from Ruin will be released 24th February 2017. Following on from their four critically-acclaimed, well-played and received previous EPs (I, II, III, and Crown Your Shadows), The View from Ruin is eagerly awaited by fans, will be an excellent addition to the band’s repertoire, and is accompanied by a striking, recently-shot video for the single track, “Nova”.

The Royal – “Wildmind”

The Royal have released their new single and video “Wildmind” off their upcoming album Seven.
