Wednesday Video Roundup: Kepler Ten, Swampcult, Under Fire, Soulgrinder

The year’s definitely getting into the swing now, as we hit the halfway point in the first full week. Hope it’s going to be a good one for you! We’re in no doubts that it’s going to be a good one for music…

Kepler Ten – “Time and Tide”

Kepler Ten are a new and powerful melodic and progressive hard rock band featuring three excellent musicians from Southampton, UK. The band recently announced their signing to White Star Records which is co-founded by Chris Hillman, and John Mitchell (It Bites, Frost*, Lonely Robot). Their expertise and enthusiasm in the progressive rock world saw them discover Kepler Ten’s unique take on the genre, fusing prog, rock, and psychedelic soundscapes, allowing them to appeal to a wide audience.

Swampcult – “Chapter III – Al-Azif Necronomicon”

This was much awaited. While Swampcult took painstaking efforts to provide us with the complete Lovecraftian experience, an official video was missing but the two band members took it upon themselves to shoot one in the swamp – take a guitar down there, do all the shooting, editing and even the makeup on their own. That’s just passion and pure dedication to the art.

Under Fire – “Blackout”

Derry, NH pop punks Under Fire will release the Blackout EP on January 6. The band says:

We worked endlessly for months on end to put this together and we couldn’t be any more proud of how it came out. We really hope everyone loves what we created as much as we do.

Soulgrinder – “Tree of Life”

After 17 years Soulgrinder, is back. Daniel and Niclas has put themself together again to compose some new songs.
