Monday Video Roundup: Beachheads (Kvelertak), Lugnet, Adoration Destroyed, Forever Still

Yeah, we skived a day as we weren’t getting anything through to pass on to you for some reason. It’s almost as if the PR companies and bands had something on over the weekend. Anyway, here we go with 2018’s first Video Roundup.

Beachheads – “Moment of Truth”

Beachheads have unveiled the first single from their upcoming debut album. “Moment of Truth” is an honest and soulful track, perfect for cold days in Oslo, and the rest of the world. Beachheads will release their debut on Fysisk Format on February 3rd.

The spark that became Beachheads was first ignited on a tour bus, as Kvelertak members Vidar (guitar) and Marvin (bass) fantasized about the endless potential of fuzzy guitars, energetic drums and strong melodies.

Lugnet – “Nightwalker”

Lugnet are a band I confess I’d never heard of until a day or two ago when I saw them mentioned twice by completely separate sources. So, obviously, I checked out their latest single and the accompanying rather cool video. Lugnet are a five piece Swedish act, by the way. I’m sure we’ll hear more from / about them during the year.

Adoration Destroyed – “In Elegant Decay”

Electro-rock artists Adoration Destroyed released their new album Ritual Damage on Cleopatra Records back in September. Adoration Destroyed was founded by Erik Gustafson, guitarist for industrial-rock veterans 16Volt. We just got news through about it and it’s a cracking collection of songs. Again, another artist you can expect to hear more about this year.

Forever Still – “Miss Madness (Acoustic)”

This one just popped up on YouTube this afternoon. A powerful acoustic version of Forever Still’s album track. The original features on their Tied Down release.
