Monday Video Roundup: Axis of Despair, Kilkovec, Arnwald, Junkyard Drive

Starting the week with another four cracking tracks submitted to us over the last few days. Dig in, enjoy and share!

Axis of Despair – “Under The Surface”

Swedish grindcore monsters Axis of Despair just released new official music video, entitled “Under The Surface”. The track is taken from their EP Mankind Crawls which you can pick up from Give Praise Records and bandcamp.

Kilkovec – “Change”

Brit Alt-rockers Kilkovec have set loose their new video single for “Change”, which is taken from the band’s compelling new EP Plunge, out Friday 27th January and pre-orderable on their bigcartel store page.

Hampshire three piece Kilkovec produce an intoxicating blend of alternative punk rock that may call to mind such esteemed bands as Brand New, Letlive, and the Marmozets. Dispatching a sound that is highly energetic, cathartic, and captivatingly raw, the southern alternative crew are quickly gaining traction. You can catch them live on the following dates:

  • 26.01 – The Alexandra Beer Emporium, Southampton
  • 27.01 – Sanctuary Live, Basingstoke
  • 28.01 – Icebreaker Festival, Portsmouth
  • 29.01 – Green Door Store, Brighton
  • 01.02 – Tooting Tram and Social, London

Arnwald – “III”

One man dark/ambient industrial music project Arnwald from Germany has released a new music video for the track “III” taken from the album Primal Expurgation that was recently released via Abstruse Eerie Radiance. The band is the brainchild of Arnaud Vansteenkiste, who also plays for various other projects such as Lebenssucht, Black Tormentor amongst many others.

Junkyard Drive – “Geordie”

In just 24 hours things have gone wild in Denmark for the young sleaze rock band Junkyard Drive. The song “Geordie” (a cover of a classic, traditional Irish folk song) has opened the doors wide for Junkyard Drive in their home county.

“Geordie” is taken from the Soren Andersen/Medley Studio-produced Junkyard Drive album Sin & Tonic to be released world wide (ex. Bickee Music in Japan) through Mighty Music on the 17th of February 2017.
