And the end of a very short week approaches. Welcome to the weekend! Almost. Just play these on repeat until the whistle goes.
GagReflex – “My Disregards”
Rising from the ashes of a band that imploded while trying to write the most complicated songs known to man, the two men of GagReflex settled on a brave, defiant and altogether simpler approach; bass and drums were all that was needed to brew a fresh blend of punk rock. Something to leave an odd but addictive taste on the palate.
“My Disregards” is the first single released from A Mouthful Of Marbles, the debut album from Gloucestershire-based punk rock duo GagReflex. A Mouthful Of Marbles is released on 27/01/2017, and is available to pre-order now from their Bandcamp page.
Accept – “Fast As A Shark (live)”
On January 13th, heavy metal titans Accept will deliver their new live package, Restless And Live. This will not only include the entire show that Accept played at Bang Your Head!!! Festival 2015 on Blu-ray/DVD, but also two live CDs with different recordings from their most recent European tour. Check out a sample of the included metallic wares below… and if you really can’t wait then they’re on tour with Sabaton from early next week, too.
Dan Reed Network – “Champion”
This video was made possible by the kindness of those who supported the ‘DRN Champion Video Pledge Campaign’. Give yourselves a slap on the back! Dan Reed gives a few more details:
Champion deals with the concept that we are what we eat, not just our physical health but our soul’s well-being. It’s about surrounding ourselves with people that feed our dreams, support and push us to be more creative, more alive, and to enjoy the ride.
The video portrays the intensity in the eyes of people from every walk of life. Having the band performing in front of the rear projected screens was to immerse those of us who wrote and will be performing this song live to visually state we all live in this bubble of light where every person we meet brings new insights, lessons, strength, and if we’re lucky, wisdom.
The band are on the road in March as well:
