Thursday Video Roundup: Eva Plays Dead, Fates Warning, Adoration Destroyed, Trash Deity

Going to be a rush job today as we have so many other wonderful things to work on (around shoving mince pies into our face-holes). A good job we have such a huge pile of great vids to pick from…

Eva Plays Dead – “Bones”

Hard-hitting rockers Eva Plays Dead are excited to reveal their new video for single “Bones”, out worldwide now.

Eva Plays Dead are concluding a highly memorable year. Notable highlights include shows with New Year’s Day, SOiL, Alien Ant Farm, Steven Battelle (LostAlone) and more. The low-point of 2016 was the theft of over £3000 worth of band equipment, which they successfully managed to recoup with a fan-initiated and driven fundraising campaign.

All of which follow on from Eva Plays Dead’s highly successful EP, Sounds of the Written Word (Summer 2015). Loud, raucous and raw, the release was classic EPD – dark, punchy, and back to basics, topped off by frontwoman Tiggy Dee’s stunning vocals.

Fates Warning – “SOS”

Vocalist Ray Alder commented on the video for “SOS”:

We are very happy to announce the latest video for the song “SOS” from our new album Theories Of Flight! The video was recorded at Carriage House Studios in Stamford Connecticut, where we have recorded a number of albums over the years. It was great to be back there again! So many memories… We hope you enjoy the video, and we look forward to seeing you on tour soon!

Fates Warning will embark on a first European tour for Theories Of Flight in January/February 2017, but have also been confirmed to appear at two of Germany’s most prestigious open air festival events next year: Wacken Open Air and Rock Hard Festival.

Adoration Destroyed – “In Elegant Decay”

Austin, Texas based industrial / alternative rock band Adoration Destroyed has released the official music video for “In Elegant Decay” from their debut record Ritual Damage, which was released earlier this year via Cleopatra Records.

Trash Deity – “Finger on a Trigger”

Trash Deity features Groovey Mann of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult and JDN of Blue Eyed Christ. They have combined their considerable talents to create this new act, an eclectic industrial project combining classic sounds with modern, polished music production. Over the last several months, the duo have written and produced their introductory EP, Run 4 Your Lies! (release date TBA).

The official video for their debut single, “Finger on a Trigger”, was created by photographer and graphic artist Neil Kull, and features compellingly vivid paintings of Groovie Mann himself.
