From Rust – “Whispers”
Emerging UK metalcorers continue their climb with the release of their new video “Whispers”. The track is taken from the forthcoming debut EP Lost Sense Of Life, which arrives on
Friday 25th November.
Ion Dissonance – “To Lift The Dead Hand Of The Past”
Revitalised Montreal crushers Ion Dissonance present their newest music video, “To Lift the Dead Hand of the Past”. The song appears on Ion Dissonance’s upcoming album, Cast the First Stone – the band’s first since 2010. A monstrous comeback, Cast the First Stone will be released November 18th on Good Fight Music. As Metal Injection puts it:
The band that kicked you in the teeth back in the early ’00s are back with a few new deadly tricks! Their chaotic blend of math-core meets brutality shines though on one of the most intense albums of the year.
Deserted Fear – “Face Our Destiny”
German death metal high-flyers Deserted Fear have launched a new video for the song “Face Our Destiny”, taken off their upcoming album Dead Shores Rising! The band comments:
With “Face Our Destiny” we are proud to introduce you the first song of our upcoming album Dead Shores Rising. The video production was rather exhausting for us again. However, it was a great experience to work with a wolfhound and to shoot under the surveillance of tough Thuringian steel workers, while gaining a deeper insight of their hard work. The video’s intention should be clear, as we wanted to create a contrast of nature and industry, to give people something to think about. Unfortunately it isn’t everywhere as green as here in Thuringia. We didn’t want to miss out on action and blood as well, but we don’t want to give away too much. Just have a look yourself. Enjoy!
Solitary – “Unidentified”
UK thrash masters Solitary have signed a new deal with UKEM Records, to release the band’s first brand new studio album in more than eight years. UKEM are a label fast establishing themselves as major players in the underground scene, with a hunger to succeed that matches Solitary’s own. Asked about the signing with UKEM, Solitary’s front man Rich Sherrington had this to say:
We are all very proud of the songs on this album and how it sounds. Working with producer Simon Efemey gave us a renewed belief in what we could achieve, so it was essential that we signed to a label with the same level of enthusiasm and with UKEM we have found the perfect match. Having been on UK labels previously we were keen for that to continue. 2017 is shaping up to be mega for us! Having the album come out in time for us playing at Hammerfest and then returning to London with Acid Reign is perfect. Hopefully there will be more to come after that as well, but having UKEM join our existing team of metal brothers can only mean that more people will get to hear and experience our metal.
Details of the new Solitary album will be emerging soon, but today you can feast your eyes on the new video for ferocious single “Unidentified”. The video was created by Andy Pilkington of Very Metal Art, who has also recently worked with Flotsam And Jetsam, and like the song itself it pulls no punches. The “Unidentified” single is available to download now from Solitary Bandcamp page as well as all usual digital download platforms.
