Monday Video Roundup: Bullet For My Valentine, You Know The Drill, The Dead Daisies, The Wrath

Kicking off the week with a biggie, and a handful of great stuff from bands you may not have heard of… but should check out!

Bullet For My Valentine – “Don’t Need You”

New single, new video from the Welsh upstarts.

You Know The Drill – “Heads Up”

Birmingham pop punk quintet You Know The Drill are pleased to give you “Heads Up”, the latest video single from their debut EP Losing Streak. Vocalist Benji Yapp says of the track:

This song definitely showcases our poppier side, we love it for that reason; the acoustic break in the middle with the piano is definitely a highlight of the song. The video is a simpler concept, showcasing some of our adventures and shot by our really good mate Joel Plews, who also sings in Best Years. We love how it came out and hope everyone enjoys watching it just as much as we enjoyed making it.

The Dead Daisies – “Song And A Prayer”

Riveting hard rockers The Dead Daisies have lined up the release of their captivating new single “A Song And A Prayer”, prior to kicking off their massive six-week joint-headline UK and European tour with The Answer. Says John Corabi:

This song turned out to have a special vibe to it, very accessible, which is really cool. But the lyrics are rather dark. In the end it’s about hope, it talks about all the troubles we’re all going through – and that you have to be hopeful, that you will come out of it. Always look on the positive side, that’s the message.

The Wrath – “Blood On Your Hands”

Gold Coast punk rock maniacs The Wrath have weighed in on the state of the Australian government with their new political punch single “Blood On Your Hands” with a classic horror inspired music video.

“Blood On Your Hands” is lifted from The Wrath’s second album Disillusions & Resolutions and the song coupled with the new music video once again demonstrates the angry, political nature of these veteran Gold Coast musicians.
